I take a direct approach to tutoring students wherein I appropriate my lessons to their needs. Whatever the stage that a student is currently studying, I am a tutor that is able to provide challenging tuition most profitable for learning. Whether one would wish to learn, say, Latin verse, its varied rules that are always confusing, or whether one would mean to study the basic fundaments of Latin grammar, your amo, amas, and amat, then I am the tutor for you.

A lesson plan with me will follow this basic guideline. When I first will meet the student, I will learn their current level and the materials that they study. We will identify goals together, what one wants to achieve with Latin, and we will identify realistic ways to achieve it. From this, we will look together at basic material appropriate for their level in the first lesson.

In the following lessons, I will provide relevant material for the student and his or her aims. Should a student wish to achieve certain grades at, say, A Level, we will together study the syllabus focussing areas of special difficulty or challenge for the student. I will provide profitable tasks with moderation when the student will make an error, and offer insight into the techniques that are necessary to achieve the student's aims.

I am a member of the ARLT (Association for Latin Teaching) and regular attendee of this organisation's summer schools.
