I like to take a chatty approach and talk about what the student is struggling with and make them feel comfortable! I like a relaxed and calm approach so the student doesn’t feel overwhelmed by the information thrown at them! I like us to work as a team rather than student / tutor!

I have a degree in Magazine Journalism and always thrived in English during school so I have a wide knowledge of words, structures and text based assignments.

In school, I found that i would get overwhelmed when a lot of information was thrown at me so I took things into my own hands and taught myself slowly and carefully, being patient with myself and taking extra time where needed. This aided me passing all my exams and it being a very effective technique i took into my university experience too.
