I make sure my lessons are entertaining and explained thoroughly as to make sure each student leaves learning at least one new thing confidently. I set small achievable goals for each lesson. This so that the person I am tutoring can gain confidence in themselves , therefore strengthening their ability to learn and understand new information. I incorporate things like colours and lights and objects such as fruit to keep the individual engaged and help them see how mathematics translates into real life situations and in-fact can be fun!

We will go over the basics of math such as addition, subtraction , multiplication, division. These subjects will all be gone over in depth to not just show them how to do it but why as-well because I think it’s important to understand why an action is carried out because it’s shows true mastery. Basics in algebra and geometry are also available as-well as foundations in other things if requested. The lesson is always catered to the child’s requirements.

I have 3 years experience working with children .I have helped multiple children get through there SATS and have done some casual tutoring whilst in the past at foundation and intermediate level .My main priority is the success of my clients.I am attentive , and 100% focused on the education and well being of the person I am tutoring.
