Joanne Rowe

Joanne was my tutor for my Access to Higher Education course. Joanne taught the Psychology element of the course and did so fantastically, making sure lessons were engaging, fun, and that the whole class learned the required content, across a group of mixed ability students. Joanne went out of her way to help with UCAS applications and played a huge part in obtaining my University place. Even years on from being tutored by Joanne, she engages with ex-students to help current learners by arranging conferences for alumni to share their experiences. I went on to complete a BSC Criminology with Quantitative Methods undergraduate degree, an MSC Data Analytics and Project Management masters degree and uptake a career working in civil service statistics and analysis. I can confidently say that I would not be where I am today had it not been for the fantastic tutoring from Joanne on my access course - I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Joanne is a dedicated and hard working tutor with excellent experience of teaching psychology. She is patient, encouraging and supportive and will go out of her way to help you succeed.
