I use a lot of ICT in my lessons but also use other resources, such as textbooks or worksheets if required. I aim to cover a wide range of skills, ensuring that I cover listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This is particularly popular for those who want to improve their language skills or want to upskill in preparation for exams.

I endeavour to work with pupils' strengths and weaknesses, reviewing areas for improvement. I believe that it is important that people enjoy their learning in order to succeed and achieve their full potential.

I have nearly 12 years experience of teaching French, from primary age to A-level. I also have experience of tutoring outside of the classroom environment. Amy particular experience in tutoring has been to help prepare GCSE pupils for their speaking and writing assessments. assessments.

I mark for the AQA exam board, and I am able to use my knowledge as an examiner to help pupils learn what is required of them in assessments, thus giving pupils the best possible opportunity to achieve the best they can.

Languages play a large part in my life, with half of my family native French speakers. I actively encourage people to learn a foreign language; not only for exam purposes, but also showing how important they are in the world of work. More and more businesses now want employees who are able to speak another language, so learning a foreign language really opens people up to a wider range of employment opportunities. In addition, you may simply want to learn a language or improve in order to become more culturally aware and linguistically competent in your travels.
