I have been teaching English as a foreign language for more than 15 years now and I did my Celta course last year. I am passionate about languages and not being a native speaker of English myself , I fully understand the difficulties that students might have when learning English. I speak Polish, Spanish, Romanian and Italian and I always integrate translation based activities in my lessons. Generally, I tailor my sessions according to my students needs but my main focus is on reading and speaking. However , if you want to learn the grammar I will provide you with a lot of great material, articles and homework too ! I scan my resources and send them to my students prior to our lessons and provide them with books in pdf and links to listening activities.
Apart from Esol I also teach Spanish - I have a degree and I have regular conversational classes with Spanish speakers because as they say 'if you don't use it you lose it".
Polish is my first language and I enjoy teaching it to foreigners and I appreciate their interest, effort and resilience. It is not an easy language to learn but I have more than 12 years of experience and I have taught a lot of students.
As I am a qualified DPSI interpreter I also offer medical English if you need to improve your vocabulary, prepare for your new job or become a translator.
