Hi! My name is Joanna and I've been learning Japanese for over 15 years. Here are some facts about me:
- I have a Master's Degree in English-Japanese Translation from SOAS, London University.
- I lived in Japan for a year.
- I've been working for Japanese companies for over 8 years.
- I speak fluent English and Polish.

I've been learning Japanese for over 15 years, and have first-hand experience with what students struggle most with: from learning hiragana, katakana, and kanji, to different levels of politeness. I will teach you how to overcome those challenges and speak Japanese like a native.

I understand that each student is different, and it is crucial to personalise lessons to your skill level, interests, and personal goals. During our first lesson, we will go over your experience with the language, talk about what you want to achieve, and what studying methods work best for you.

We can do lessons fully in Japanese, or I can use English / Polish to explain grammatical structures for better understanding. We can also do a kanji writing class, where I show you on-screen how to write characters properly, and you can easily follow along.
