I have been tutoring GCSE students for the past 4 months therefore I have completely mastered how to teach mathematics. I understand which techniques work best with specific mathematical weaknesses and will therefore definitely be able to help you. I have a deep passion for maths and would love to share my skills. I alter my teaching methods according to the student itself. I use valid resources and have interactive lessons so that the student stays engaged throughout. Since I did quite well myself I know for a fact that my methods work, however I am always open to trying out new ways and methods to tackle mathematics according to what my student requires. I believe strongly in homework since I feel it reinforces great discipline, which is a skill all students should hone. However, I also understand that not all topics require homework and that sometimes it’s hard to tackle multiple things at once. Therefore I set homework mindfully.
