My role is to assess and teach over 30 learners in their workplace, provide support and guidance by collecting evidence, assessing their abilities and enabling them to gain their AAT qualifications. All learners at Level 3 have achieved Distinction so far. The Portfolio is transformed into bite size (Projects) which makes it very easy for the learners to understand. Most of the learners have been benefited and achieved better grades in the Synoptics alongside their Portfolio. There is a need to establish links between the both. I have been teaching and assessing AAT from last 15 years. Dealing with the complicated situations, where apprentice doesn’t get sufficient learning time, i.e. off the job hours, lack of practice, poor communication especially in the scenario based exams. I have developed the whole system of apprenticeship.
