Jing Xia

I am a native Chinese, speaking fluent standard Mandarin and English, and graduated from The University of Birmingham after obtaining a PhD degree. I have over 16 years experience in teaching Chinese language and culture to pupils from different countries with diverse linguistic background. I always try to inspire students with the interest in Chinese culture and pictography nature of the language, so they won't feel frustrated to start speaking Chinese.

I have extensive teaching experience in secondary school and have also taught English and Maths for many years. I am also a certified 11+ teacher having a very good success rate over 90% with all of my pupils. I have also taught SEN students.

I am a patient, passionate & dedicated teacher, and always try to make my lessons fun, easy to grasp as well as informative, tailor-made to each student. So many of my students come to me by recommendation. I am committed to excellence and determined to make an impact in the life of all my students.
