My name is Jing Deng. I come from China. I speak native Mandarin, fluent English and a little bit of Korean, Japanese and German. My leisure-time interests are extensive, ranging from sports to music, movie and some do-it-by-yourself activities, which turns out sometimes to be useful for teaching and bonding with my students. As a teacher expecting positive responses from students at class, I usually employ question and task-driven approaches to ensure the participation of students, while for a theme-based series of sessions, students are normally assigned a project to work out part by part independently, in pairs or in groups. Lastly, since we live in a digital age, teaching tools like multi-media do help me present learning content and materials in more attractive and acceptable ways.
