I have taught history successfully for 34 years in Secondary, Grammar and FE settings. I am retired now so finding a time that suits isnt an issue. My passion for the subject has driven me to do my very best for my students and, hopefully, not only succeed but develop a love for the subject. I will provide quality notes/ materials, exemplar qs and answers, exam qs designed to make you think, learn and grasp the technique involved. With lots of chat, humour, diagram summaries done together to build up a picture of the topic, how it is examined and how you can maximise your marks. i will build my tutoring around your needs and build your confidence to enable you to achieve your goals and provide guidance for parents on how they may support you too.
Finally, of course, your success depends very much on a positive attitude and commitment both to tuition but also your school work. Tuition is there to give you additional support and not to replace your lessons.
