I start from basics if the student is new to the language. I use simple methods, at first understanding the student better and which language they're more comfortable with whole conversing.

I take weekly tests and unti tests to check the progress the student is making. Also, I try to converse in the language i teach so that they can get comfortable with the language.

I love all languages and I can proudly say that Hindi is one of my favourite to teach.
