I previously taught in my hometown during covid as a side gig. I really enjoyed it and started teaching more students online but I loved sitting down at a table with the student and working together to solve problems while also carefully directing the student in the right way. I prepare lessons plans and homework in advance. Before teaching the student, I will email the lessons in advance to the parents. This should allow the parent's some peace of mind before placing their trust in me. I normally do 1-2 hour sessions. I feel this gives us enough time to really get to grips with the issues the student is facing. I like to keep my lessons fun and engaging! The student should come away from each lesson feeling that they gained value from the session. I cover many topics, but programming is definitely my main strength. It could be something simple like developing their first website or it could be more complex. I'm more than happy to step up to the challenge to help you. I would be more than happy to offer references of some students I'm currently teaching here in East Kilbride already. The first lesson will be basic test to see where your knowledge is currently at for your year. If you would rather we focused on your schoolwork, we can sit down and work on that instead. I am more than happy to be used in this way. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
