Jiayu Ye

I have experience in teaching Chinese to foreigners. I graduated with Merit from Jinan University in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. My alma mater was one of the first institutions in China to establish the Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages program (Chinese as a Foreign Language program), ranking in the top 5% in China. I have cross-cultural communication and dissemination skills, and I have the skills to instruct non-native Chinese students in Chinese. During my time at campus, I have participated in several practical classes of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. In addition to this, I have also worked as an assistant to a Professor of Chinese as a Foreign Language and as a part-time Chinese teacher for foreigners.

Through these experiences, I have developed a high level of Chinese language skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, as well as the ability to use modern technology for Chinese language teaching, research, management and teaching resources development, enabling me to work in international Chinese language education in a multicultural and multilingual context. In addition, my extensive internship experience has given me strong communication skills and patience to respect and understand the needs and aspirations of each student equally.
