For my younger students, depending on their experience; I will start by teaching the fundamentals, like numbers and the alphabet. I will build on those skills with phonics, parts of speech, and basic grammatical skills.

For my older students with a little more experience, I will mold my lessons around where they need the most help. I want to prioritize turning those weaknesses into strengths while helping to expand on their natural strengths as well. Each lesson will be different depending on each of my students and what they personally need from me.

With that being said, personalized lessons will be what to expect. I am not the kind of teacher that will teach the same thing to everyone because not everyone is the same. There is no sense in trying to mold my students to fit one curriculum when I have the flexibility and knowledge to mold myself to fit each of my student's personal needs. I will create a fun learning environment where my student's will actually enjoy learning. I am very intentional with everything that I do and I take pride in my work, from the smallest task to the biggest. So you must know, I will be very intentional with my lessons so that my students are able to absorb and retain the most value.

Learning new things should be something that students should look forward to. It is a beautiful thing to have all this knowledge out there. I think with time, we have lost the will to learn and it moreso feels forced to our student than anything.

I am here to help change that and bring the power of learning back to my students.
