I am a very enthusiastic and extroverted tutor, and will adapt my approach to the student's needs. I like to use visual methods for learning, and using media materials like books/tv/movies/music that students are particularly interested in to create an engaging learning experience. I like to bring in a piece of interactive media in order to spark conversation and then assess where learning can be developed and improved, depending on the student's level and what they are interested in learning more about. I also think it can be useful to break down the formality of the 4 walls of a classroom, which can be quite daunting, by having lessons take place beyond this, for instance walking through a museum, or in a park. I truly believe that the lesson should, within reason, be guided by what the student finds most inspiring, so that learning can not only be about knowledge or experience development, but also about sparking inspiration, and making learning an everyday enjoyment.
