As a student currently studying, I know all the best tips and tricks for revision and retention. I will prepare, in advance, materials that we will go through in the session and these can be fully moulded to what you, or your child, want to learn. I am kind and patient and will go over things as many times as you need! A typical session would be around an hour but this is dependent on the amount of content you want me to cover in one session. My sessions are open to anyone needing help with Biology in either GSCEs, A-levels or IB qualifications as it can sometimes get confusing! As a student, I routinely score top marks in assignments, and, while completing the IB, achieved similar results. I can help with homework assignments and revision, as well as recapping any difficult topics and basics.
I am 19 and a second-year student at Warwick, studying to become an Astrobiologist! I love my Biological Sciences program and have immersed myself in several extracurricular activities. One highlight is an ongoing research project with professionals in the University Lab, for which I secured a grant. I love helping others and have secured high marks all throughout first year, GSCEs and the IB diploma. The A-level curriculum is similar to the IB, so I can easily transfer my knowledge and review the A-level syllabus in advance to ensure our sessions cover exactly what you need to know. I will get to know you, or your child's learning style, and adapt my lessons to them personally, using what I've learnt through my years in education. I have had tutors and teachers before that have not understood me, or how I wanted to learn, and I know how frustrating that can be! I will try my best to help you personally and let you develop into the best biologist you can be :)
