Hello! My name is Jess. I am Spanish, but I have lived in Los Angeles (USA), London (UK), Cardiff (UK) and Dublin (Ireland). I am bilingual (English, Spanish and Catalan) as my mother taught me English since early childhoood.

Since I was a child, I have loved teaching. For me, both English and Spanish are a passion, a true vocation. I have been working as a teacher for more than 10 years, both in academies and with individuals. My experience and my university degree in English Philology have given me the basis to create my own methodologies which I adapt to each individual student.

My methodology is dynamic and adapts to the preferences and needs of the student in question. My methodology could be summarised in the following 5 essential points:

1.Emphasis on oral expression and comprehension (speaking and listening).
2.Learning grammar in an effective way (intuitive grammar), but enjoyable. We move away from traditional grammar teaching methods which have historically been so inefficient.
3. What is your learning style: visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, etc.? Every human being is prone to a particular way of learning. Lessons and material will be customised according to the unconscious way of learning vocabulary, i.e. the learner will learn the vocabulary by using it in sentences in a given context. It will not be necessary to use the outdated didactics of "rote learning".
Practice rather than theory.
