I always aim to make a fun and engaging lesson whilst maintaining good progression in the subject matter. I like my students to feel comfortable to try new things. I believe I am a friendly and bubbly teacher who enjoys working in one on one or group teaching settings. I have experience teaching English as a foreign language as well as having a degree in music, meaning I can teach various kinds of music lessons on different academic levels.

I have always enjoyed working with younger children and I believe I have good patience and understanding for them. I have often taught ESL online with a group of up to 5 individuals. This was challenging but also a really great way to get students working together and learning from each other’s strengths.

My lesson plans can be catered to the area that the student feels they need more help and guidance in. I like to use my first session with a student to really understand what they would like to take out of the lesson and what they want their overall outcome to be. Each lesson is tailored to the specific student and I will always make sure I am looking at how we can best develop the students learning.

If you were to have lessons with me, I can promise that we will learn a lot as well as having lots of fun! This is very important to me. I think children will always digest learning material more when they’re having fun doing it!
