I work as a teacher, artist and academic support assistant within a plethora of creative subjects. I have been working in this field for over four years and have been an artist for much longer than this. I am skilled at video art, sculpture, photoshop, drawing, painting, photography and more.
My week is spent with students between the ages of 12-18+ and I teach subjects all the way from video editing and creative media to painting, photography, sculpture and 3D modelling.
My lessons are fun, unique, practical and filled with new skills for students to absorb. I also like to take an exciting approach to art history and theory where you will be carrying out engaging activities in order to discover the historical and contemporary thought behind art and design.

I try to avoid a boring lecture style approach to teaching and make sure my students are learning through doing and being creative. This ensures students will remain interested and learn better!

As an academic support assistant, I work with students who are 16+ with various special educational needs and I take a nurturing approach to working with people with learning differences. I push my students in a supportive and understanding manner to achieve great things. I have three years experience of working with students with special educational needs and disabilities.

I hope that through my excellent art and design teaching students will gain a professional understanding of the arts, and gain fantastic skills to achieve the best possible work you can.
