Jessica Thakar

I am a friendly, hardworking and optimistic tutor who is passionate abut helping children with there academic studies. My lessons are professional but also fun, humorous and lively. Whether it's working in small groups, large groups or 1:1, I am ready to help these children in ways they are most happy and comfortable. Having numerous experiences in schools, I am aware of the teaching methods that I can use when working closely with children who may have different teaching styles. For example, some children may prefer more activities and role play whilst another may prefer reading or watching something to aid there learning.

My lessons are full of activities and pictures to help stimulate children's learning as well as ensuring they are having lots of fun. I always encourage my student to try and never give up, and I ensure that this is encouraged at all times in my lessons.

I want my students to become confident learners and at the same time, I want them to be comfortable and content in my lessons which definitely helps with there learning.
