About me

Using my exam marker experience and skills, every lesson will feature opportunities to review model answers, practice exam questions and will provide the tutee with an opportunity to explore areas for improvement within a safe environment.

Using my exam marker experience and skills, every lesson will feature opportunities to review model answers, practice exam questions and will provide the tutee with an opportunity to explore areas for improvement within a safe environment.

The content will always be mapped back to the plan I will create with the tutee and will incorporate what is set out by the examining body.

If this structure needs amending to suit the needs of the tutee, I am happy to be flexible. I will use relevant and recent examples given that I work within mental health and am currently embarking on a PhD in psychological medicine.

There will be opportunities for 'live' marking so that the tutee can get feedback but also so that they will be able to put themselves in the position of the exam marker.

I also provide university level tuition. The lessons will usually cover academic writing skills, proof reading, study skills and more depending on the needs of the student.

Jessica worked with our twins from their entrance exams in year 6 right the way through to this August when they finished their GCSE's. We are thrilled Jess has said yes to support them at A-Level too. She is very friendly, approachable. Her lessons are interesting and detailed. We like how she keeps us in the loop with everything, provides useful resources and our kids love her.

Jessica helped our daughter's confidence to grow immensely in A-Level Psychology and Sociology. She got an A* and an A in the end and is now about to start at university. Our daughter's target grade from school was a C so we were all amazed! Thank you Jessica for everything. We will definitely be calling upon you again for support at uni.
