I am equally well versed in exam technique and have this as a huge focus as many young people struggle to gain full marks because they don’t answer the question properly or don’t understand what the question wants. I am a big believer in teaching learners the exam craft and techniques needed to gain full marks on a question as you often find young people can verbalise it but struggle to get it down on paper, which is ultimately how they are assessed. With this exam technique it also massively improves a learner’s confidence when it comes to exams. In my experience this has a huge impact on grades as learners are more confident to have a go at a question which will give them more marks overall. I am in a privileged position for this as I am an AQA examiner so see thousands of exam questions each summer and have a detailed understanding of how to gain marks specifically from AQA. This is a transferable skill for different exam boards.
Overall I am an incredibly enthusiastic and experienced teacher who’s keen to help learners reach their full potential from their examinations. I’ve been teaching for 6 years so am well equipped with a variety of different teaching methods for each topic
