In person, I teach at Reading at The Practice Rooms on Castle Street. In London I teach at LCATT in Highbury. I'm also open to visiting your place of work for groups.
Because I use the Alexander Technique as the basis of my lessons, I will ask your permission to use my hands to gently guide your use. The use of hands is not obligatory.
Lessons are guided by your requests, or I have a basic progression that I follow if you have no particular issues in mind.
Singing is my personal passion. I've been singing all my life, and first recorded professionally at the age of 4. I've sung in most conceivable situations, from large shows to busking (singing down the high street is an incredibly liberating experience!). I also play piano, guitar and saxophone, and so I can help with any other instruments as well.
I'm also a record label owner, songwriter, music producer and arranger, and so I can help you with any other musical requirements you may have. I take a holistic view of the music industry and wellbeing, having worked in both areas extensively.
I trained for 1600 hours over 4.5 years to become a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, and consequently a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Teachers and the Complimentary and Natural Health Council, as well as being DBS checked.
