I am an excellent qualified Spanish Teacher. I have been a Spanish Teacher and an English Teacher since 2002.
I am a native Spanish language specialist with in-depth expertise in the Spanish language, grammar, and literature; an immense range of vocabulary; and excellent knowledge of Spanish speaking cultures. I have always excelled in the Spanish language and I learned it extensively throughout my school and university education.
I have a vast experience working with people from different backgrounds, cultures, and of different ages; and have worked for the public and private sectors: schools, colleges, universities, language schools and companies.
I have excellent expertise in the English language, grammar, literature and linguistics. I studied the Bachelor's (Hons) degree in English Language and English Literature, and French language and Italian language at university.
In my role as a Spanish teacher, I have:
- designed lessons using modelling and scaffolding strategies;
- designed activities which challenge and support students;
- reflected upon the needs of students with SEND to create the lessons using a universal design approach in which all students study in an inclusive environment;
- used a wide range of activities to promote learning;
- provided students with different resources to aid their learning;
- led students to be active learners by self-reflecting in their learning experience and how they can improve;
- encouraged students to take the necessary steps to achieve the required targets and goals, and thrive;
- encouraged students to be autonomous, committed and involved in the lessons, and participate actively;
- promoted and developed the students’ abilities, skills, and self-confidence;
- increased the students’ knowledge of the cultures where the foreign languages are spoken;
- encouraged students to reach their full potential despite barriers;
- asked students to work in teams to encourage them to develop their empathy, respect and resilience; and
- used the examination boards as a guidance.
