I am available to complete personal tutoring online or I can travel to students homes within my area.
I achieved a B in a level English literature so I have years of experience within the subject. I volunteered as a personal tutor during my GCSEs so am experienced in teaching and making sure pupils are comfortable and confident. I enjoy reading and plan to help others share this passion.
At GCSE level and below I can help with reading and writing practice, spelling and Language and literature to a high standard. I will make sure pupils are comfortable and confident enough to ask questions whenever they are unsure so I am able to help them achieve the grades they desire.
I am more qualified in English literature but also achieved a B in English language GCSE.
Any specifics that the students struggle with they can voice their concerns to me and I will, to the best of my ability, help them to focus on areas that they want to focus on.
I am a confident English speaker and lover of the language and hope that students will be able to get the most out of tutoring with me.
From February I will be working towards my degree in psychology so I will be able to relate to the students in terms of exam stress and will also be able to help them with advice on revision and timetables from my experience as a GCSE and A level student. I hope that students will take on board the advice I give them and enjoy the lessons.
