Hey! My name is Jessica, I am from Portugal but have been living in England for over 10 years.
Moving to England had its challenges but it has also been interesting and insightful. From the language to the culture - being able to learn it all from the root has been incredible.
I take it as an advantage as I've been where you are now and with motivation and perseverance anything can be achieved.

I am currently volunteering at a local community centre, providing English lessons to children who have just moved to this country and have a limited knowledge of the language.
During my lessons we will be working by sharing of screens, quizzes, colour/number/letters/body parts identification, learning the basics of the English language, quizzes, music, videos etc. All you need is a notebook, pen and excitement.
I start with conversations so it gives me an idea of the English language knowledge as well as getting to know you of course - I create personalised lessons that will suit every beginner student.
I believe that there are no foolish questions and we are all here to learn and experiment, so during my lessons always feel free to ask me questions and/or if you are not understanding something.
I have been learning languages for a while, but I am also passionate about texting them, specially English as it was something I went through when I first moved to London.
I am always looking for new words in different languages so hopefully we can learn from each other.
