I have been a tutor for the last 25 years specialising in English (up to undergraduate level) and Maths (to GCSE level). I have a degree in English from Oxford University and I have completed the CIPD Certificate in Learning and Development Practice. As well as tutoring extensively I have taught at several schools including the Cheltenham Ladies ' College.

I take pride in designing personalised courses for each student taking into account their learning style (for example, Visual, Auditory or Kinaesthetic), their areas of interest and abilities to concentrate. I like to make lessons enjoyable and I think it is very important to be approachable and encouraging.

I will always strive for a variety of activities and exercises on each topic as this is the best way to consolidate learning. I welcome feedback from students to ensure that they are getting the information, confidence-building and resources that they need to perform at their very best in the subject
