In our first lesson my main goal is to find out the student's weaknesses and working out how best to support their needs.
I offer help throughout the subject of English, no matter what level the student may be at. That means whether you need help with SPAG, general essay writing, or aid in understanding the texts (such as difficult Shakespearean plays!). I am here to help.

In our first lesson my main goal is to find out the student's weaknesses and working out how best to support their needs.
I offer help throughout the subject of English, no matter what level the student may be at. That means whether you need help with SPAG, general essay writing, or aid in understanding the texts (such as difficult Shakespearean plays!). I am here to help.
Homework is not something that I will set for my students. If something is not finished within the lesson, I will save it to carry on with in the next lesson if I feel it is something the student could do with extra help on.
I will also always answer any questions that a student may have; one of my main goals is to have a strong rapport with my students so they feel comfortable enough to ask any questions they need to. Furthermore, regular feedback will be requested from my students so that I know they are feeling comfortable and happy in their lessons, after all, having a tutor is about centring around their own personal needs!
I have a vast knowledge of the three exam boards AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR. With many past papers and resources at hand.
Past paper questions are reserved for students who I know are comfortable in answering them; I will not ask a student to try answering a question on their own without knowing they are confident enough to do so. This means that we will start out at the students pace and continue to do so throughout our lessons!
