My biology degree of 4 years consisted of a broad range of modules including professional skills in conservation, biodiversity, animal and plant conservation, ecology, climate change and evolution, along with many others. I also have experience in protected species, habitat surveys, ecological impact assessments and National Vegetation Classification. During A-Level and GCSE Biology, I covered human biology topics such as cellular physiology, human nutrition, the anatomy and physiology of body systems, homeostasis and cardiovascular and respiratory function, all of which I am knowledgeable on and confident in teaching. Years of volunteering with organisations such as The National Trust and RSPB have included educating the public on local wildlife and habitats.
Initially, I am happy to discuss any interests, criteria, strengths/weaknesses and exam requirements that would like to be met. We can then arrange a time and date that best suits you to undergo a lesson on the chosen topic(s). My lessons tailored to meet your needs, engaging and meaningful. I often create powerpoint presentations to display lesson content and make the the lessons more interactive. These lessons include your learning objectives, clear and broken-down information on the specified topic and finally, a summary - all of which I will talk through with visual aids and helpful notes. I am also always open to pause to answer questions, repeat or expand. After-lesson questions and activities are also available, which are marked and discussed during the next lesson.
By helping you achieve your goals and sharing my passion for this subject, we can both benefit! I hope you'll consider me as a tutor:)
