My lessons will be tailored to each individual and will be delivered according to the learner’s ability and what they are looking to achieve from the tutoring.

I’m an encouraging and engaging language teacher who will get you enthused about the beautiful language of French :-) Lessons will be fun but focused. We will smile about things as we learn, but we’ll work hard at the same time.

I was Head of French and I taught French and German for over 10 years in an academic independent school locally. I taught A-level, GCSE and Years 7-9 for a long time, so I am used to requirements for the various national curriculum levels, GCSE exam criteria and A-level exam criteria. I understand what examiners are looking for, in the various different skill areas and papers, and I’m used to helping students focus on the areas they find most challenging, whatever this may be.
