I am a remote tutor, so my lessons will be online through a video chat platform. I like to personalise my lesson plans depending on the student to ensure I am creating lessons that are engaging & benefit the student's learning style. I will usually use presentations & short activities with some homework tasks to help develop skills & knowledge. The tutoring sessions will begin with some baseline tasks that will help identify areas of weakness & targets we need to hit!
I recently graduated university in June 2024, and this is a huge benefit to my work as a tutor. This is because education is still fresh in my mind and I can relate to you and give you advice based on my own personal experiences! I do also have several years tutoring experience alongside my studies. I have offered tutoring to GCSE students in English Language & Literature, as well as Maths. I achieved top grades in all of my GCSEs & A-Levels and I believe with determination and good study skills, anyone can do the same. With my help, you can reach your full potential in your exams and achieve great things in the future!
My current career goal is to go into teaching in my specialism, Film Studies, at a university level, so tutoring is not just a job for me - it is valuable experience and I am incredibly passionate about helping students like you reach their goals :)
