I have au paired in Spain when I was 17 where I planned short English lessons in the morning to teach the children English as their secondary language. I have volunteered at a nursery where I put together activities for the children to complete and I assessed each child upon completion. I have also done volunteering work at a primary school where upon I listened to the children reading then assisted in the classroom and occasionally working 1-1 with students who required extra assistance in their work. I am currently completing an access course to higher education where I am learning about children, psychology and about becoming a professional teacher.
Although I am not yet a qualified teacher, this is my passion! I can assure you I will do my full research on the topic and do my best to help your child achieve as much as they can! I will listen to their needs - whether spoken or unspoken and make sure I help them to reach their full potential.
I will speak to the parents as much as they would like about your child's progress too and about how we, as a team, can further their progress.
My lessons will all be online via a video call such as skype unless we live in the same area. I will also do my best to ensure the lessons are fun, entertaining and of course, full of learning!
