I begin with a consultation to find out about students’ academic goal and their biggest struggles. Depending on the frequency of the lesson and schedules of their assessment tasks, I then provide a personal learning plan, which details what will be covered in each lesson and how it will be taught to provide an overview of how the student will reach their goal. Their progress is reviewed every fortnight / month (depending on the frequency of lessons) to ensure the student is on track and to make adjustments if required. All lessons and resources are tailored to each student. Students can also decide how much home learning tasks they would like to receive.
