During covid lockdown I had to homeschool my daughter and this gave me a very good understanding of how important a constant education is for a child. It also showed me that one on one tutoring can help a child get over their biggest problems when it comes to certain aspects they are stuck on. I have a calm and patient approach, with amazing listening skills to help you feel comfortable.

I do my utmost to tailor lessons for each individual as everyone is different! I tend to focus more on learning through activities / play rather than worksheets, especially for children.

Throughout the lessons I will hone in on any aspects that need work and alter the lessons as appropriate. It is important to me that the lessons are not a chore and students enjoy learning.

The first lesson will be a general session of seeing what aspects need more work, identifying the best modes of teaching for the individual and becoming familiar with the background of the student. After this, each session going forward can be tailored. I can even make interactive worksheets with favourite games / tv characters to make it more enjoyable.

I will always communicate any concerns I have as soon as they are identified and would be more than happy for you to communicate any concerns you have as well!
