Hi, I'm Jenny!

I’m hugely passionate about sharing my enthusiasm for Science and Maths. I hold a Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, which has provided me with a strong foundation in both scientific theory and practical applications. I have 4 years professional teaching experience in a variety of settings, including at a leading school in central London.

I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that prioritises the needs of each student to help them develop a genuine passion for the subject. My approach is student-centred, focusing on building critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of the material. I believe in the importance of tailoring each lesson to meet the individual strengths and target areas for the student. I take time to understand their current level of understanding and design sessions that are engaging and build on prior knowledge. In addition to subject content, I place a key emphasis on developing effective exam techniques, such as time management, question analysis, and approaching different question types. Ultimately, my goal is to make learning a fulfilling experience that empowers students to take on academic challenges with confidence.
