I believe that it is important to fully understand topics before applying them to examples when answering questions. For example, by using concrete materials to fully understand mathematical concepts, children will have a deeper understanding of learning. Only then, learning can be taken to the abstract and fully understood and applied to real life examples.

My experience working in prep schools means that I am very able at extending able learners and understand the 7+ and 11+ requirements and the English curriculum.

I have a lot of experience teaching children with additional support needs, such as dyslexia and autism. I understand how to adapt learning to suit the needs of all learners and to make it fun and engaging so that children develop a real thirst for learning.
