Jennifer Marshall

Hi everyone! I am from Toronto, Canada and I have 8 years of teaching experience internationally. I love working with students from other countries and cultures and I am very patient and organized. You will see that even after the first lesson, you will feel cared about and I hope to motivate you to learn!

We will be doing many learning activities based around decimals & fractions between grade 4-6. We will practice together using online platforms (like jamboard!), play games in partners (to build up the confidence to learn about the topic) and we will use lots of fun learning resources (in order to engage each student and not just listen to a teacher give a lecture). I will teach using lots of visuals, such as photos, google slides, websites, games & project based learning, where students will be able to demonstrate their work at their own pace (without feeling the need to compete against others in the class). Students only need basic level of knowledge with decimals and fractions. I am a very patient, organised and enthusiastic teacher and I am confident I have the tools to ensure your child learns in a fun and motivating way.
