I am keen and excited to support students with their goals and objectives. I am passionate about learning and supporting others to learn with the qualifications, training and experiences I have gathered. I have a Masters degree in International relations, degree in International Politics and American Studies - American history and American literature. I gained a 2:1.
My A Levels were in History, Sociology and English Literature.
My career has been over 20 years within Criminal Justice in the UK. I have been a detective constable and have twenty years training within the police and probation service. I have retired from the criminal justice system in order to focus on supporting others, through restorative practice and through my love of history and literature. I am a restorative justice and practice specialist as well as a therapist for emotional resilience, thinking skills and trauma led counselling.
I will be enthusiastic, to help a student reach their potential, I will tailor my sessions to the needs and to what suits the individual student to help them to connect and thrive with the curriculum they are studying. I will match the energy that the individual in order to build a solid and trusting relationship. Sessions will be lively, interactive and will be led by the joy of learning.
