As a Spanish tutor, my lessons are going to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. I focus on making learning enjoyable and practical, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your fluency.

My lessons typically follow a structured yet flexible format. We start with a short conversation or warm-up exercise to build confidence in speaking. Then, we dive into vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure using real-life examples and fun activities. I also incorporate listening exercises, reading comprehension, and writing practice to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.

I adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles. Some students prefer a more conversational approach, while others benefit from structured grammar lessons and exercises. I like to use visual aids, interactive games, and cultural insights to make lessons more engaging.

With experience in language learning myself, I understand the challenges that come with it, and I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment.Throughout the learning process, I emphasise real-world language use. I encourage students to practice speaking as much as possible, even if they make mistakes—because that’s how you improve. I also provide plenty of feedback, focusing not just on mistakes but also on areas of strength to build confidence. I believe language learning is a journey, and I’m there to support every step of the way.

For students who wish to take their learning to the next level, I offer specialised lessons based on their interests, whether that’s business Spanish, travel Spanish, or even preparing for exams. I’m happy to adjust the focus based on your goals, so each lesson is meaningful and directly applicable to your personal needs.

Outside of formal lessons, I recommend engaging with Spanish media such as music, films, and podcasts. This helps students become more comfortable with different accents and slang, and it adds to the overall immersion experience. I also suggest using language apps and flashcards to reinforce vocabulary, grammar, and conjugation outside of class time.

Above all, my teaching philosophy revolves around making Spanish a fun, accessible, and relevant skill for each student, no matter their level. My aim is for students to not only understand the language but also to enjoy the process of learning it. I want them to feel empowered to use Spanish confidently in any situation they encounter, whether it’s ordering food at a restaurant or negotiating a business deal.
