I am happy to tutor online or in person. I can travel in Folkestone or the surrounding areas. I am available evenings and weekends.

I have 13 years experience teaching in secondary schools and have in depth knowledge of A Level and GCSE curriculums. I have been an examiner for GCSE so teach tricks and tips for the exams as well as revision strategies. I have a proven track record of excellent exam results with students I have taught. I use recall and routines to build confidence for exam preparation.

I have a broad subject knowledge and am flexible about the areas we focus on. I am student led in terms of approaches and tutoring styles and will build on students’ existing knowledge. I am a literacy specialist so have experience teaching reading and literacy skills at KS3. My hope is to build confidence around reading and writing and inspire a love of books and reading at KS3. I can focus on spelling, decoding, writing skills, grammar or any literacy needs a student may have.
