By creating a great relationship with my students, I want to make a friendly atmosphere where they can enjoy lessons whilst learning. I will set individual tasks tailored to each student based on their needs and skill level and work alongside them profoundly to develop their writing abilities. My goal for my students is to showcase their potential and improve their skills to ensure their desired results at GSCE, which will benefit them profusely.

My lessons may vary in content, depending on the pupil's needs, but I will mainly focus on essay writing and improving fluency, cohesion and consistency within written work. I expect my students to be dedicated and committed towards their studies, and be able to complete any set tasks I provide for them to their best abilities.

When teaching lower year groups, such as Years 7, 8 & 9, I will cater my lessons towards enhancing my pupil's ability to use their knowledge within a piece of writing and dedicate thorough lessons and explanations to develop their skills. Lessons dedicated towards Years 10 & 11 will be more intense, as I will focus more on exam skills through in-depth analysis of texts using context to create well-rounded essays that will please the examiners. I will introduce revision techniques to all students, regardless of their year group, to ensure the best results in and outside of tuition and school.

As a young person, I understand the stress GSCE may bring towards a child so, I will prioritise my pupils' well-being and safety at ALL times. Confidence and comfortability are two major values that I believe my students should have, and I am willing to work alongside them to not only improve their skills, but their confidence and ability to do well in the future. My wish is to set a great example to my students.
