I am experienced in teaching children & adults and can design lesson plans to suit your immediate needs.
Lesson plans will be designed for your best possible outcome in a friendly and non-judgmental way. Encouragement & positivity are qualities I very much endorse as the foundation for a good learning experience. The student will bring his or her own skills to the table & I am here to answer your queries! And of course to provide you with necessary support, competent tuition & inspiration.
You will need to provide your own materials. I will demonstrate relevant skills to you & have exemplar & reference material to hand. Homework/tasks can be set as requested including useful & relevant reading suggestions. Overall I aim to provide students with an enjoyable & good outcome oriented Art lesson experience ~
Students are very welcome & encouraged to bring with them their sources of inspiration or ideas , (and a camera, for example) - whether it be an object or a book. I strongly recommend a prior conversation over the phone to discuss your/your child’s needs.

I am qualified with a Bachelor of Fine Art, Master of Arts, Higher Postgraduate Diploma in Painting, & a PGCE in Secondary level Art & Design & have taught primary, secondary aged children & within Adult Education, as well as my own community classes for a variety of age groups.
