I would also give appropriate exercises for the specific topic as well as practice questions and past papers for the older students. I find that these exercises extremely helped me in my student before university to establish a foundation.
My favourite way of learning chemistry is watching videos and going through worked solutions and so, I would recommend some for my students for the topics we are doing. For students struggling to understand specific things, I have countless recommendations that have helped me in the past.
