I have been teaching for over 25 years and tutoring for 5 years. My specialist areas are reading, writing and maths.

I break lessons into small steps which begin with retrieval from our last lesson so students are always building on. I make my lessons interactive and model and explain all new methods. I ensure understanding of vocabulary and key skills.

I am patient and use a lot of humour to make lessons fun. I can set homework if requested.
