I will use a series of online 1:1 sessions that are tailored to students needs, utilising constructive techniques to encourage maximised learning. My aim is to guide students forward towards achievement, whilst maintaining a supportive role to aid understanding of core psychological theories, concepts, and studies, that are on the course syllabus.

Lessons will occur online, with two 1-hour sessions a week (or as one 2-hour session). The first portion of sessions will focus on learning new knowledge, whilst the remaining time incorporates interactive activities to layer understanding and evaluation. The plan is for lessons to remain informative, but offer a relaxed environment where learning can be enjoyable.

Students will be given guided and independent exam practice, in addition to regular recap quizzes of older topics. Students will also have the opportunity to inform me of what they would like to achieve out of these sessions, with room for reflection and continued support where needed.

I have spent the last three years at the University of Portsmouth, studying an undergraduate degree in BSc (Hons) Psychology. This course has allowed me to explore various perspectives in psychology, offering a wide range of learned aspects to draw from. I have started to study teaching methods during my course, and I will be moving onto full time teacher training in September. I have a passion for helping others, and I would like to be able to share my love for Psychology with as many people as I can, through the medium of teaching.
