Javiera Martinez

My name is Javiera, and I am an English teacher and Spanish tutor (native). I currently live in Santiago, but I'm from the north of Chile! ???? I love music, movies, series, anime, among many other things. I always wanted to learn English, since I was very young, and I studied it constantly on my own, I even made friends from other countries thanks to this. I have done private English lessons since I started studying for my bachelor's degree.

As a teacher I have always believed that learning should be fun, in a space of trust where you feel comfortable and can express your doubts. I like to adapt to the learner's needs, and at the same time propose challenges to reach their maximum potential. If you are nervous about speaking in a new language, don't worry, I understand, we all go through that! and it will never be a reason for criticism. I like to be empathetic and understanding. Also, here there is no room for discrimination of any kind!

I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and an English teacher degree from the Universidad de Atacama, and a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Educational Community from the University of Chile. I have an impeccable record of academic excellence. I am passionate about learning constantly, and also learning from others ??
