The method I use will depend on the demands of the student. If you want to learn communication in Spanish, this can be carried out with trivial conversations, work on the blackboard to learn vocabulary and focus on the construction of sentences according to the use that the student wants to give it.
If you want a more specific learning, we could add audio visual material (dialogues from movies, documentaries, etc.) The idea is that the student improves the hearing of the language in an entertaining way.
In the event that you want to travel to a country, we could work on the use of the most common slang depending on the country where you are going. Add also, the knowledge of customs and certain existing traditions in the different Spanish-speaking countries.
