I am a secondary mathematics teacher working in a mainstream secondary school in the Manchester area. I have extensive experience and knowledge of teaching key stage 3 and 4 topic areas to a variety of abilities including pupils with SEN needs. My strengths as a teacher are endless, and consist of breaking topic areas down, presenting information in a clear and visual manner and ensuring pupils are building on from prior knowledge when they are learning something new.
I have ample experience of using a variety of revision strategies with my year 11 class, using resources from websites such as Dr Austin and Go Teach Mathematics, to ensure pupils are best prepared for their upcoming GCSE examinations.
I believe it is my friendly personality and building positive relationships with pupils that really stands out and makes me the teacher I am today.
